Television and film career[]

Victorious[]

Bennett co-starred as Robbie Shapiro in the Nickelodeon sitcom Victorious. He was nominated for a 2011 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award (UK) in the category of "Nick UK's Funniest Person". The show ran from March 27, 2010 to February 2, 2013.

Warm Fuzzies: Music career[]

Bennett independently released an EP of songs that he wrote, Warm Fuzzies, on May 20, 2012.

Nerdist[]

In March 2013, it was announced that Bennett would host a web series for the YouTube channel Nerdist YouTube Channel|Nerdist. On the series, entitled "Nerdy Jobs," Bennett will go behind the scenes of many "Nerdy" jobs to show how interesting they are.

Sam & Cat[]

In January 2014, Bennett, along with Liz Gillies and Nathan Kress, guest starred in the Sam & Cat hour long crossover episode; #TheKillerTunaJump.

The Slap[]

On June 23, 2014 Bennett was featured in the popular YouTube video "The Slap" as one of the participants.

"One Last Time"[]

On February 15, 2015 Bennett was featured as the male lead in Ariana Grande's (great friend and partners in the TV comedy show Victorious) hit music video "One Last Time."

Game Shakers[]

He guest starred alongside Rex in the episode Tiny Pickles. He portrayed himself.

Trivia[]

Although he was referred as Matt Bennett, his character was similar to Robbie: He sang a line of Broken Glass backstage and was run over by Rex in the parking lot.
